Hi there, my name is Erin. I eat Vegemite on frozen white bread, I am a total romantic, if it comes in pink that's the one I have, I always have a camera with me, and I am so true to my word that sometimes it hurts me.

My passion is photography, capturing natural portraits and casually documenting the special events of life. My motto is to 'Take a lifetimes worth' which basically means to take photos that capture the moment which will last a lifetime.

With a background in fine art photography, I see beauty through the lens of even the most banal of objects. They say never to work with children or animals, but I love the unpredictability of them both. I have worked in commercial studios in both Canada and Australia capturing everything from babies' first steps on film to a furry part of the family being that crazy character that you love so much.

Sometimes I get asked how long I have been into photography; one of my earliest memories was taking a photo of my parents when I had just turned four. My first camera was a plastic red film camera that my Dad bought for me at the post office for $4.95. Things have come a long way since then, but I do still like to have fun with my plastic cameras.
